At last I realize, I see the world through different eyes
Now there's a feeling of joy in my heart
You know there was a time when doubt and strife controlled my life
Until I felt it would tear me apart

I was so lonely, waiting, hoping for sight in the dark

A sudden vision of the world around
That pushed me to rhyme
Another range of possiblilties
Justified my time

Here from my roof I see a scheme of things which pleases me
No desperation, no fear and no doubt
I use to kneel and pray I could some day break away
But I don't need to I've found my way out
